Welcome to the Pryor House Bed & Breakfast
The Pryor House was built in 1893 and loving restored in 2011 by Tom & Pat Honeywell. Prior to it’s restoration, the house was home to local teachers. Owned by the local school district it was called “The Teacherage. When you step through the front door you step back to a time of elegance, grace and beauty,--a time of being waited on hand and foot. Guests enjoy the same services at the Pryor House Bed & Breakfast today. Enjoy a long soak in high back tubs, a siesta in the hammock in the garden, the beauty of the flower beds surrounding the patio. Curl up in front of a fireplace or in a reading nook with a good book or just take a nap and enjoy the peace and quiet of small town Iowa. If you are feeling energetic, borrow a bicycle and ride the local trail--perhaps take along a good book or a picnic lunch to eat at Pingle’s Wood. We feature Wi-Fi, cable TV, on-site bicycles, movies, and books for guests enjoyment.
